A small 13cm x 13cm gap<\/strong> (the size of a CD case) allows them to travel between gardens safely without having to cross dangerous roads.<\/p><\/li><\/ul> <\/p> \u200bBefore you strim or mow: Hedgehogs love to sleep in long grass and overgrown corners. If you hear a distinctive 'plop' into the water, sit still for five minutes.<\/p> They often resurface nearby to continue munching on reed stems.
